Cherry Blossom Season

Description
In 1976, the Japanese Prime Minister gifted the city of Seattle 1,000 Sakura (cherry blossom trees) in commemoration of the United States bicentennial. These trees typically bloom early spring for a short period of time. These trees thrive in the climate of the Pacific Northwest, similar to that of Japans.
